Microsoft does not recommend nor support the installation of mixed versions of Office on a Windows based computer. Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise is available in a 32-bit and a 64-bit version. Microsoft recommends that users deploy the 32-bit version, even on computers using 64-bit operating systems. Users with Microsoft 365 apps for enterprise running on Windows 7 devices will continue to receive security updates until January 2023. Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise is no longer supported on Windows 7. Please note support for Windows 7 ended on January 14, 2020. A full, installed Office experience across PCs, Macs, Windows tablets and iPad and Android tablets, and most mobile devices. Office for the web apps are included and provide access to web versions of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. This subscription-based service provides faculty, students and staff with the latest versions of Microsoft Office for use on their PCs, Macs, tablets, and phones at no cost.
